The agony of defeat
are identical energies
opposite along the continuum of raw unfiltered human emotion.
The Olympic Games are special.
But I don’t think there’s a better meet in all the universe than the US Olympic Track and Field Trials.
Here’s me doing grass angels when I officially made my first Olympic Team. To this day, I’ve never felt anything like that moment.
…4 years after I failed to make my first Team when I “should” have. Oddly enough, my body felt similarly.
Only one was “happy” and one was “sad.”
Nothing is promised. Nothing is owed.
If emotion is *energy in motion*,
let it MOVE,
and you’ll always find your way back to where you want to be.
