Allow the Hammer to Pull Your Foot Off the Ground

You don’t “step” during the throw—you allow the hammer to *pull* your foot off the ground.

A step is a deliberate action initiated by thought.

When you allow for the BALL to do the work, the foot will react and lift and return to the ground faster than you can think to lift and step.

Similar to the knee jerk reflex when the doctor taps on your knee.

No thought is necessary.

Thought is slow.

Reaction is fast.

It is my opinion that @brooke_andersen does this the best of just about anyone in the world at the moment, regardless of gender.
